Monitoring.

Cwtch Consultancy provides regular monitoring visits across Ofsted and CQC provisions. Consultants will conduct an on site inspection visit,  compile a report providing feedback and will share with manager/RI/Ofsted/CQC

Regulation 44

Regulation 44 visits

Based on a three bed home or smaller: the cost would be

£250.00 * per three hour visit. This includes the three hour visit, one hour report writing and distribution to the Manager, Ri and Ofsted.

Based on a four bed home or larger: the cost would be

£400.00 * for a half day (four hours) visit. This includes the four hour visit, two hours report writing and distribution to the Manager, Ri and Ofsted.

To minimise travel costs  (we could where possible complete up to two x three hour visits in a day if you have more than one home in the same area).

The cost would be £400.00 * and Travel costs per full day (six hours) visit.

Supported Accommodation

Supported Accommodation Monitoring Visits

Are a frequently used service area for new and established providers covering all areas from set ups. safer recruitment to compliance auditing.

 

Initial site visit

Initial site visit to look at the suitability of the home with an action plan included would be at a cost of one consultant at £400* per day plus travel.

Ofsted pre registration

Initial site visit to look at the suitability of the home with an action plan £400.00* plus travel.

Additional Consultant visit to discuss your requirements prior to a pre Ofsted registration visit. £400.00* plus travel.

The pre Ofsted registration (ensure you are ready for Ofsted). visits are over two days with two consultants day one @ £700.00*  and with one Consultant usually over day two @ £400.00* plus travel per day.

Staff folders set up and safer recruitment review

The recruitment package would be £700.00* a day for two Consultants on the interview panel and half day @ £250.00* for preparation for interview questions and application shortlisting, plus travel per day.

Staff folder set up would be at a basic rate of £400* per day for one consultant plus travel costs

supplying and compiling personalised Schedule 2 would incur and additional cost per staff member. £POA

Safer recruitment checks and Review including action plan,would be at a basic rate of £400*per day or £250* for one consultant plus travel costs.

Fire Safety and Health and safety ready

Pre fire safety inspection consultation and action planincluding indexing, would be at a cost of £400.00* per consultant per day, plus travel costs or two consultants at a cost of £700.00 per day plus travel costs.

Full Home set up

*Fees are between £250* for 1/2 day  (3hrs) and £400* for a full day (6hrs) consultant fee; for home set up services and pre Ofsted registration visits.

As a general guide preparing, providing and setting up your policy & procedures, staff files, young person files and activity / home risk assessments normally takes four to five days (dependand on the size of the home) at £700.00* a day for two consultants.

Consulting service on reviewing the setting up of all children's homes systems and paperwork for new service or to revisit existing homes.

Supervision and appraisal 

Regular supervision and appraisal is essential to ensure a successful and happy work force. In smaller companies it is not always easy to ensure and only active person is available for employees to feel free and open to speak to. Cwtch Consultancy services can provide a friendly independent   consultant to support this. 

Supervisions and appraisals

Supervisions and appraisals for Staff members, Managers, RI and Directors cost £150.00*,plus travel costs for one and a half hour consultation and a detailed report for your records.

Monthly and two weekly supervisions for Staff, RI and Registered

Return interview (MFC)

Missing from Care return interviews

independent return interviewers and advocates to meet with children and young people within 72 hours of their return, at competitive prices.

We are in a position to offer this service for £85* a visit/interview plus travel costs. 

As we know that lots of children and young people go missing together, this can then become quite costly. With this in mind We are happy to link these visits by charging £85.00* for the initial interview with the first young person and £45.00* for subsequent interviews with young people on that same visit.

Advocacy/Friend

Independent advocate drop in service for the residents, children or young people once a month.

This consists of ;

For a home under five beds, one hour and a half to two hour visit with the young people and a written report at £150* for up to two hour consultation.

For a home of five and above beds or a school, a three hour visit with the young people and a written report - £200 + VAT for three hour consultation and a detailed report for your records, plus travel cost.

one to one Advocate sessions are from £85.00* a session, plus travel.

In the current climate, it can sometimes be difficult for providers to fill management roles on a permanent basis quickly. Cwtch consultants can support providers by offering managers of varying levels on a daily rate. Supporting providers to make sure that they hire the right candidates.
